Korean Manhwa challenges Japanese Manga; Children get interactive at Frankfurt Book Fair
The world of children's books was on full display at the Frankfurt Book Fair childrens' book hall. Amid the dazzling displays of interactive learning software, books, and cartoons, literary critic Mirko Kraetsch read to a large audience of children and their parents, and engaged kids in putting together a puzzle, while down the hall one could hear shouts of Manhwa mania as the Korean cartoon-style invaded the Japanese provence of Manga.
